Twitch has announced Bloxfest, a Roblox Twitch Rivals event featuring special activations, in-game rewards, and a $300,000 (~£221,000) prize pool.
Organised in collaboration with RB Battles Games dev studio, Bloxfest will take place from February 5th to 27th.
Bloxfest for Viewers
Throughout the upcoming Roblox event, viewers will be able to earn time-limited in-game rewards simply by watching Roblox streams on Twitch. A global RobloxCheer emote will also be available to use in the chat.
Moreover, an exclusive Twitch chat badge will be awarded to viewers subscribing to any channel streaming Roblox during the event’s duration. Additional chat badges will be available only on select days of Bloxfest.
Bloxfest for Streamers
From February 5th to 23rd, streamers will be able to stream Roblox content daily and complete event-specific tasks. Points will be awarded for each completed task, with the top performers getting a chance to take part in the $300,000 (~£221,000) Twitch Rivals Bloxfest Grand Finale.
Interested creators can apply for the event by heading to its official website until February 5th (8 AM BST). The accepted streamers will then have to earn points to climb the leaderboard by completing a special challenge.
On February 26th and 27th, qualified streamers will compete in the Bloxfest Grand Final, divided into eight teams led by the following all-star captains:
- NicoBlox
- IBella
- iBugou
- ElAbrahaham
- robinhoodgamer

The Growth of Roblox

Roblox is an online gaming platform and creation system that allows users to create and play their own games. Despite being released nearly 20 years ago, the platform still attracts millions of monthly users today.
In recent years, Roblox has also organised several creator-focused esports events, including last year’s Roblox Creator Showdown with a $50,000 (~£36,800) prize pool.
Furthermore, RB Battles hosts Roblox competitions for YouTubers, developers, and Roblox players, as well as the RBBattles Championship. The show was established by Roblox creators DJMonopoli, Russo Talks and SabrinaBrite.
