Charlie Kirk was preparing to launch a new book when the right-wing activist was gunned down in Utah in September. And as accused shooter, Tyler James Robinson, awaits his next court date, supporters are rallying behind Kirk, taking the late media personality’s new book — and his previous releases — straight to the top of the bestsellers charts.

From Winning Team Publishing, the conservative publishing house founded by Donald Trump Jr., Kirk’s new book, “Stop, in the Name of God,” soared to the top of Amazon’s bestselling books chart, just hours after its December 9 release date.

Stop, in the Name of God: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life

Sub-titled, “Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life,” Kirk’s book addresses the historical significance of the Biblical day of rest, and offers an argument into why it’s more important than ever to observe it.

In a brief description online, the conservative author and outspoken Christian positions the Sabbath as a “radical act of resistance” in a society “dominated by screens and constant noise.”

As the book title suggests, “Stop in the Name of God” aims to show readers how “honoring the Sabbath restores balance, reduces anxiety, and nourishes your soul.”

Kirk’s book is available to order now on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. On Amazon, “Stop in the Name of God” has already hit number one on the retailer’s Christian book charts, as well as its religion and spirituality charts (as of this writing).

According to the publisher notes, the new book “will help you discover how observing the Sabbath isn’t a rejection of modern life but a rebellion against busyness and a pathway to genuine connection, peace, and presence. It’s not just a day of rest — it’s a lifeline to reclaiming what truly matters.”

In addition to leading the conservative organization, Turning Point USA, Kirk was a prolific author, and two of his books, 2024’s “The Right Wing Revolution,” and 2022’s “The College Scam,” have both returned to the bestsellers chart since his death. Perhaps due to curiosity and an outpouring of support for Kirk, both books are currently sold out on Amazon, though limited copies are still available at BarnesandNoble.com as of this article’s time of publication.

Kirk was speaking to students at Utah Valley University when he was shot. He was 31.
