BetBoom Team has announced that Artem ‘Pioneer‘ Saveliev has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the esports organisation.

The move follows the departure of former CEO, Alexander ‘Dyrem‘ Sevirinov, who stepped down from the position after leading BetBoom Team since 2023.

In the X (Twitter) announcement, the new CEO said: “I could say we’ll easily win TI and make playoffs at every Major. But I won’t promise miracles; there’s a lot of work ahead. Step by step, we’ll move toward our goals in a structured, systematic way.

“The team already has a strong foundation, and my job is to help it grow further and unlock its full potential in the new season!”

While celebrating Pioneer’s promotion, the organisation reflected on his predecessor Dyrem’s achievements during his two-year tenure as CEO. In a follow-up post, BetBoom Team highlighted Dota 2 roster’s top four finish at The International 2025; the PUBG team’s victory at the PUBG Global Series (PGS) 8, and the Counter-Strike 2 lineup’s qualification for the BLAST.tv Austin Major.

“Thank you to everyone who’s been part of BetBoom Team in one way or another,” Dyrem stated. “And to everyone I had the chance to work with. This time has been an important part of my professional journey, but sometimes paths diverge. I wish BetBoom Team success and growth in the future!”

    What’s Next for BetBoom Team?

BetBoom Team currently fields rosters across three divisions including Dota 2, Counter-Strike 2, and PUBG.

The organisation’s Dota 2 lineup ended the 2025 season by partaking in DreamLeague Season 27, but was knocked out during the Group Stage after failing to reach the top eight. Heading into 2026, it remains to be seen whether the roster will qualify for DreamLeague Season 28, PGL Wallachia Season 7, and ESL One Birmingham.

When it comes to PUBG, BetBoom Team ranked 11th out of 33 international teams at the PUBG Global Championship, the crowning event of the season. However, only time will tell whether the team will be invited to play in PUBG Global Series 11 and 12 in March 2026.

Finally, the organisation’s Counter-Strike 2 roster most recently competed in the B-Tier CCT Season 3 European Series, placing eighth out of 24 teams. The team will kick off its the 2026 campaign by competing in the BLAST Bounty Winter 2026 Closed Qualifier, aiming to qualify for the LAN Finals.
