    It’s a “Pluribus“-“Breaking Bad”-“Better Call Saul” crossover! (Sort of.)

In a new promotional teaser for Vince Gilligan’s new Apple TV series, Bob Odenkirk, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul and more actors from the Walter White universe appear on television to greet Rhea Seehorn’s character, Carol Sturka.

“Pluribus” follows Carol — dubbed “the most miserable person on Earth” — as she must “save the world from happiness.” When a world-shattering event turns most of the global population into a friendly hive mind, Carol sets out to protect her individuality.

At the end of the first episode, Carol turns on her TV and communicates with a White House official who tries to reassure her that she is safe and that there has been no alien invasion. Apple TV mimicked the scene in a 100-second ad that begins with Cranston’s face above a chyron reading “JOIN US.” A montage of hundreds of friendly faces flashes across her screen, including Paul standing in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Odenkirk and Patrick Fabian, who played Howard Hamlin on “Better Call Saul,” tell Carol, “We just want to make you happy.” Giancarlo Esposito, who played Gustavo Fring across both of Gilligan’s series, says, “We’re sorry we upset you,” and Jonathan Banks, who played Mike Ehrmantraut, has a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo.

Carol Burnett, who had a memorable Season 6 guest role on “Better Call Saul,” says, “Carol, if you need us, we’re here for you.” And even Drew Barrymore, from the set of her talk show, says directly to the camera, “We love you, Carol, and we just want you to be happy.”

Seehorn played Kim Wexler across six seasons of “Better Call Saul,” on which she appeared opposite Odenkirk, Fabian, Esposito and Ehrmantraut. In the final season of the “Breaking Bad” prequel, Gilligan overlapped the timelines of his two series with surprise guest roles for Cranston and Paul, reprising their roles of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman.

“Pluribus” debuted on Nov. 7 with two episodes. Despite this new promotional video, the series is not set in the “Breaking Bad” universe. The series has already been renewed for Season 2, and Gilligan told Variety in a wide-ranging interview that he expects the show will go beyond that.
