Onyx Collective has set the premiere of Hulu‘s Reasonable Doubt‘s third season for September 18 and revealed a trio of first-look photos, including one of new series regular Joseph Sikora.

As Deadline revealed in March, Sikora, best known for playing Tommy Egan in the “Power’ Universe, will portray Bill Sterling. Bill is Jax’s coworker at her firm, Binder, Hurwitz & Stewart. He started his law career later in life after serving in the Coast Guard for ten years. As he looks toward making partner, his proximity to Jax becomes imperative to his success.

Also new this season, Kyle Bary in the recurring role of Ozzie, a household name since his childhood when he starred in a long-running sitcom, who is now up for a franchise role. He comes to Jax with a dilemma that quickly becomes messy.

Reasonable Doubt centers on Los Angeles-based high-powered criminal defense attorney Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart (Emayatzy Corinealdi) as she deals with past traumas, a struggling marriage, motherhood and a murder case while trying to keep her life together.

After a tumultuous season of fighting to save her best friend from a life sentence while healing from her own deadly affair, Jax Stewart has finally earned some peace in her life … even if she sees it all as a little boring. So, when Ozzie (Bary), a former child star, finds himself in a heap of trouble, Jax seizes the opportunity to spice up her daily routine.

But when Ozzie’s personal life turns out to have all the drama and danger of a Hollywood movie and Jax’s professional future comes under threat from a charismatic associate at her firm, can she clear her client’s name without losing the personal and professional successes she’s worked so hard for?

The returning series regular cast also includes McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, and Angela Grovey. Morris Chestnut will come back as Corey Cash, alongside Rumer Willis, Brandee Evans, Richard Brooks, April Parker Jones, Keith Arthur Bolden and Arkeisha “Kash Doll” Knight.

Reasonable Doubt is created, written and executive produced by Raamla Mohamed. Kerry Washington executive-produces alongside Pilar Savone for Simpson Street, Larry Wilmore via Wilmore Films, Anton Cropper and Lena Cordina. Shawn Holley, Jon Leshay, Tamara Gregory, Erika Harrison and Zahir McGhee serve as co-executive producers. The series hails from Onyx Collective and is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.
