Last week may have marked the official start to spring, but this week, the best dressed stars on the red carpets continued the spirit of the season with their striking fashion choices. Thanks to their choice of bold colors, interesting texture plays, and perfect springy silhouettes, these A-listers shed their heavy winter layers in favor of light, upbeat frocks that shined easily on their own.

The 2025 Billboard Women in Music Awards, held just last night, delivered plenty of eye-catching looks. Jennie took a modern approach to Old Hollywood dressing with her red, sweetheart-neckline Zuhair Murad gown. Doechii, meanwhile, went archival in a black Donna Karan slip from 2014—yet it felt just as fresh and current today.

Speaking of a more retro sensibility, Mikey Madison embraced a more groovy 1970s aesthetic while attending her Saturday Night Live after-party in New York (fresh off hosting, no less): The Oscar winner chose a faux fur-lined Chloé coat in teal. Boho-chic lives on!

Stellar suiting with unexpected shapes also had a moment this week. In New York, Selena Gomez emerged in a red Magda Butrym blazer styled overtop a dress with a built-in rosette detail. In L.A., Carey Mulligan stopped by the Jimmy Kimmel show in a black Bottega Venta blazer with scalloped detailing, and with a fresh new chop. Sure, a classic suit will never tire—but these updated versions gave their looks extra pep.
