The Interior Ministry said that Turkish police have detained more than 300 people during the largest opposition demonstration in more than a decade, the arrest of the famous mayor of Istanbul.

On Wednesday, on Wednesday, on Wednesday, the country’s longtime leader, Tip Erdo ۔an’s leading Challenge, Akim Samulo, was arrested on Wednesday, on Wednesday.

According to a statement by Interior Minister Ali Yarlaikia, police detained 343 people during protests in Istanbul, the capital Ankara and seven other cities.

Amolu has denied the allegations and his supporters have accused Erdo ۔an of using the police and the judiciary to stop their political wishes. The Minister of Justice has denied that the investigations are politically encouraged and said that Turkish courts have been implemented independently.

The move against Amomolo has attracted the country to political and economic turmoil. It incited deep sales in Turkish assets, which forced the central bank to sell its billions of dollars of reserves to defend Lira as it has tried to cool down 40 % inflation.

It has also reinforced an opposition that has faced a long -running clamps during Erdo ۔an’s 22 -year rule and a long -running clamp during the assembly.

Erdo ۔an warned the opposition’s Central Republican People’s Party, or CHP that “the days of determining politics through street terrorism are in the past”.

“We will not allow the CHP and its supporters to provoke public discipline and disturb the peace of our nation,” he said in a post on Saturday.

The government has sealed widespread political protests since 2013, when hundreds of thousands of people participated in the protest, called Gazi Park protests. The crackdown marked the Erdo ۔an’s slide towards the authoritarian rule.

Protesters in Istanbul, Ankara and the third largest city, Izmir, are violating the ban on public gatherings, while the Central Opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) has demanded that they be calmly demonstrated every evening unless Amamo is released.

According to reports, the protest has been mostly organized, but on Friday night the riots police used tear gas and rubber bullets outside the city hall of Istanbul to stop some of the protesters who tried to cross the barracks and threw items at the police. Water cannons were deployed in Ankara and Izmir.

The governor of Istanbul, an official appointed by Erdo ۔an, on Saturday, “people, groups or vehicles are likely to participate in illegal protests” but banned entering or leaving the province. The ban on protests was also extended till March 27.

Dero was brought to the Central Court House in Istanbul. There, he will appear before a judge who is expected to decide whether to release him or be remanded in custody on Sunday. Amulu can only be held for four days without charge under the country’s counter -terrorism laws.

He was detained a few days before the CHP primary to name his presidential candidate. The party has said that it will move forward with a nationwide vote on Sunday, and invite both its registered members and non -members to put the ballot. Amolu, who is the mayor of Istanbul since 2019, is the only candidate.

The general elections are not scheduled until 2028, but the CHP has said that nominating Amulu can now pressure Parliament to call Snap vote. Amolu has permanently performed Erdo ۔an in voters, and voters are unhappy with dealing with the cost of the president’s residential crisis.

Erdo ۔an has been barred from fleeing the limits of the period, but his allies have demanded amending the constitution so that it can stand up and extend their rule to the third decade.
