Bad Bunny sure knows how to make his amphibian friend feel better. On Friday, the Puerto Rican star released the video for Debí Tirar Más Fotos track “Ketu TeCré,” which follows Concho during a night on the town.
The video opens with Concho, the frog character from Bad Bunny’s Number One album, getting ready to go out. He sprays cologne, poses in front of a mirror, then drives through Puerto Rican streets with his besties to the club. He texts Concha, his love interest, who says she’s going to sleep.
At the club, Concho is served by an insect bartender and spots a baddie frog — sadly, it’s Concha — dancing with someone else, leaving him heartbroken.
Concho leaves and sits alone, reminiscing on their relationship, before getting a text from Bad Bunny inviting him to a human strip club. There, dollar bills fly as Concho and Benito watch in awe. The video ends with Concho retelling the story in heartbreak.
“I’m so jealous with my emotions. I get so angry and it hurts to share my feelings with someone who doesn’t deserve them,” says Bad Bunny before Concho responds, “I need to be more of a fucker. I’m too nice!”
The “KETU TeCRÉ” video follows videos for “BOKeTE” that dropped last month and “La Mudanza,” which came out the month before. Bad Bunny introduced Concho the frog in a teaser for the album featuring Jacobo Morales last December.
“As Bad Bunny confidently moves between a whirlwind of rumba rhythms and raucous reggaeton sirens, it’s like he has found a whole new peak of greatness at the top of Puerto Rico mountains,” read a Rolling Stone review of the album.
This summer, Bad Bunny is hosting a residency in Puerto Rico starting on July 11, playing 30 shows at the island’s beloved José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum. The residency will precede a world tour in the fall to celebrate Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
