Jason Isaacs and Tom Felton had a Harry Potter reunion on Broadway, bringing together The Malfoys again.
Isaacs played Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter series, while Felton played his onscreen son, Draco Malfoy. Felton is currently reprising his role as Drago on Broadway for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
“I came. I saw. He conquered,” Isaacs shared on an Instagram post. “You had your own giant boots to fill, son, and you burst them at the seams. Balls like ostrich eggs. So brave. So proud. So glad to be there.”
Felton replied to the post, saying, “Thanks for coming dad. Ive never been prouder to be a Malfoy.”
The White Lotus actor also shared a couple of photos with Felton as they embraced each other. Appearing in the pictures was Aidan Close, who plays Draco’s son Scorpius in the Broadway production.
Felton also shared the sweet moment of three generations of Malfoys on his own Instagram post.
“No one does it quite like the Malfoys 🐍 – three generations meet for the first time on stage – Needless to say , it was magical… Love you dad @therealjasonisaacs Love you son @aidanmclose,” Felton captioned his Instagram post.
Earlier this year, Felton announced he would be reprising his Harry Potter role in the Broadway production for a limited run. Felton would be taking over the role of Draco from Aaron Bartz during a 19-week limited engagement from November 11 through March 22.
“It’s very much a pinch-me kind of situation,” Felton said on the Today show earlier this year. “I keep thinking I’m dreaming. I let go of that character 16 years ago, and now I’m getting a chance to step back into his shoes — as a father this time — in a new story. I get to meet Draco as an adult, which is very exciting.”
Felton said that when he saw himself with the characteristic hair, he “immediately started crying,” adding, “It’s such a huge part of my childhood, it’s like me going back to high school. I’ve been very excited to share this news. I’ve had to keep it under wraps for quite a while.”
