Metallica’s 24-show run at the innovative Las Vegas venue kicks off in October

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, Rolling Stone may receive an affiliate commission.

Metallica confirmed they had no plans to add new dates to their Las Vegas Sphere residency despite stratospheric ticket demand. The 24-date run sold out quickly after hitting the primary marketplace Ticketmaster.

That means that fans who want to see the metal icons live will need to check resale, either through verified Ticketmaster resale or on platforms like StubHub and SeatGeek.

At a Glance: How to Buy Metallica Sphere Tickets

The band’s Life Burns Faster residency is grouped in two-night sets, with unique set lists across the shows. The residency initially started as an eight-show run, before quickly adding extra dates to stretch across two dozen nights.

The shows kick off in October and run through March of next year. Before then, the band will keep busy with the M72 World Tour, in support of 72 Seasons, with dates across Europe and the U.K. Metallica are the latest major artist to take to the Sphere. Others have included U2 and Phish, while No Doubt are booked for May and June.

If you’re looking to catch Metallica live, here’s what you need to know about buying tickets online, including resale options.
