Biggest Legend Balance Changes in Apex Legends
Revenant saw a drastic rework into his Reborn counterpart during Season 18, overhauling his kit with new abilities. The biggest change comes from his new class, from Skirmisher to Assault, meaning he loses the ability to scan care packages in favour of opening extra compartments from red Smart Supply Bins.

Ash has recently become quite dominant in the battle royale’s meta since her Season 24 rework, leading many users requesting an immediate nerf or change to the Legend during the recent Reddit AMA held by Respawn developers. The biggest change is the loss of the Charged Knock upgrade, a perk that used to give Ash an Arc Snare upon knocking down an opponent.

There were also other smaller changes to characters who have seen increased play this season. With Ballistic, Vantage and Wattson receiving an array of buffs and nerfs to reign in parts of their kit.

No doubt these changes will affect the in-game meta, and extend beyond to the esports scene. Players can either experience these changes for themselves, or watch them take action in upcoming events such as ALGS Split 2 Pro League Qualifiers APAC North from August 1st to 3rd, 2025.
