Some golf courses are so iconic, even non-players can name them on sight. There’s Pebble Beach in California, the Old Course at St. Andrews, and now, Cabot. A relative newcomer (its first tee time was in 2012), that Ben Cowan-Dewar co-founded, Cabot has already earned its place among the greats; not just for its globally scattered, jaw-dropping properties, from the cliffs of Cape Breton to the coast of Saint Lucia, but for the culture it’s building along the way.

It’s golf, but with a soul. Sure, the views are cinematic, the service is white-glove, and Adam Sandler — aka Happy Gilmore himself — has played here. But what sets Cabot apart is how it turns a day on the course into something bigger. It creates a community in a way that golf never quite did before. Read our full breakdown of Cabot below to learn more.

    Part One: The Party

If you clicked on this, chances are you know a little something about the Masters. And if not? Respect for scrolling through anyway. The Masters isn’t just a golf tournament; it’s the golf tournament. A tradition with over 90 years under its belt, that’s held every April (give or take) at the Augusta National in Georgia. It’s where pimento cheese sandwiches are as coveted as caviar, phones are non-existent, and legends are made.

If you want a ticket, you can try buying them, but good luck with that. You could also try throwing your name in the lottery and hoping for the best (it’s possible, but don’t hold your breath). Winners of the Masters get to walk away with the iconic green jacket (which, fun fact, stays at Augusta once the year’s up) and eternal bragging rights. Past champs include the likes of Tiger Woods, Bubba Watson, and most recently, Rory McIlroy (2025).

But here’s what you don’t know: the hottest ticket isn’t the tournament itself. It’s Cabot’s Master’s party — a low-key but legendary experience that’s become the unofficial main event of the weekend. Think less country club stiffness, and more classy house party energy with a killer guest list. We’re talking Cabot members, celebs, golf fanatics, and the kind of people who know their way around a green.

There’s a cigar bar. Live music. Craft cocktails and impressive eats. People aren’t just networking, they’re actually having fun. Telling stories. Trading swings and secrets. It’s golf culture with the collar unbuttoned. And for one weekend, it turns Augusta into the coolest scene in sports.

    Part Two: The Courses

Sure, Cabot’s parties are legendary, but the real selling point? Their global lineup of golf courses. As a developer, Cabot doesn’t just design courses — they curate entire experiences. From the clubhouse to the logo on the last tee, every detail feels intentional and elevated.

Right now, they’ve got 13 courses (a few of which are award-winners) and four Cabot-managed properties around the world. Each one has its own feel — from windswept coastal stunners to private-island retreats like Cabot Saint Lucia’s Point Hardy, which is members-only.

If you want in, you’ve got a few options to choose from: own a home on the property, book a tee time as a public guest (most courses allow it), or become a friend of the brand. A round will cost you anywhere from $200 to $500. Cabot also has accommodations at select locations, so you can stay, play, and soak it all in without ever leaving the course.

    Part Three: The Digs

If you’re ready to go all-in, you can always put down roots and buy a home with Cabot. That move doesn’t just get you a killer view and next-level accommodations, it gets you into the inner circle.

Perks include access to members-only courses, modern homes that blend luxury with style, and a built-in group of fellow golf-obsessed friends. It’s the entry into a club that most people only dream about. And yeah… the rest of us are definitely jealous.

    Part Four: The Details

From Florida to France, these six properties are changing the game, one tee box at a time. Check them out below.

    Cabot St. Lucia, Point Hardy

Opened in 2023, Cabot Saint Lucia is members-only, meaning if you want to tee off here, you’ll need to own a piece of paradise. (Time to check that credit card balance). But trust us: it’s worth every penny. With jaw-dropping views of the Caribbean and the vibe of “An Island in the Sun” come to life, this course isn’t just a place to play — it’s a place to never leave.

    Cabot Highlands, Scotland

When you think of Scotland, a few things probably come to mind: golf, whisky, and maybe a historic castle perched precariously. So it’s only fitting that Cabot put down a flag there. Their Scottish course delivers that full fantasy, castle included.

    Cabot Revelstoke, British Columbia

Head up to the Great White North — but not just yet. Opening in 2027, Cabot Revelstoke in British Columbia is set against a backdrop of jaw-dropping mountains. It’s got that après-ski energy, only this time, you’re swapping snow boots for golf spikes and a hot toddy for a 7 a.m. tee time.

    Cabot Citrus Farms, Florida

Prefer to keep it stateside? Cabot Citrus Farms is your go-to. This award-winning Florida gem has sun-soaked greens, just don’t forget the SPF on the fairway.

Cabot Cape Breton, Inverness, Nova Scotia

Cabot Cape Breton is as luxurious as it comes. With a shocking 47 holes (yes, you read that right), premier lodging, and homes for sale if you’re ready to turn vacation into a permanent thing, it’s the kind of place that blurs the line between getaway and lifestyle. Not a golfer? I get it. You’ll still want in for the oceanfront views, fine dining, kayaking, hiking trails, and live music opportunities.

    Cabot Bordeaux, Bordeaux, France

You know what they say — when in France, do as the French do. At Cabot Bordeaux, that means world-class golf paired with wine tastings, spa days, and a whole lot of je ne sais quoi.
