For the development of the product, UK-based performance and recovery solutions provider, Tech Co Group Ltd, teamed up with several stakeholders in the esports and health industries, including Achieveminds.
Founded by former EXCEL ESPORTS Sports Psychologist Fabian Broich in 2021, Achieveminds is a performance-first esports organisation and consultancy based in Andorra.
“Players don’t just win in the arena; they win in recovery. With the Performance Pillow we’re turning sleep into a trainable edge,” commented Broich in a press release.
The pillow is powered by CSS’ SleepEngineTM, an integrated tool which aims to deliver audio-based sleep support. In addition, the product can be used with an Ultrahuman Rin AIR smart ring. The smart ring developed by global health technology company Ultrahuman records user markers to help the pillow adjust its sleep-support programme.

The product can be pre-ordered today via the dedicated website.
Shakeel Baig, Founder and CEO of Tech Co, commented: “By combining CSS’s proven SleepEngineTM with insights from Ultrahuman Ring AIR, we can deliver smarter rest that adapts to the demands of esports scrims, tournaments and intensive training blocks.”
Whether aimed at maximising the performance of athletes or minimising the risks associated with prolonged gaming sessions, stakeholders from within and outside the esports industry are increasingly tapping into the intersection of gaming and health through partnerships and product innovations.
Recent examples include Cloud9’s partnership with Mueller Esports Medicine and BIG’s men’s health campaign with L’Oréal Men Expert during last year’s Movember.
