Deftones are coming back with their first studio album in nearly five years: Private Music arrives August 22 (via Reprise/Warner). Its lead single, “My Mind Is a Mountain,” is out now, and you can listen to it below.

Private Music follows Deftones’ 2020 full-length, Ohms, and is the band’s 10th studio album. Deftones co-produced and recorded it in California and Nashville with producer Nick Raskulinecz, who also worked with them on 2010’s Diamond Eyes and 2012’s Koi No Yokan.

Beginning in August, Deftones will get back on the road for the second leg of their 2025 North American tour. Support on the tour comes from Phantogram, Idles, and the Barbarians of California. Deftones will also play a pair of shows with System of a Down in Toronto in September. See Deftones’ tour dates below.
