Federal prosecutors on Thursday accused three alleged members of the gang and an alleged gang associate that they were trying to rob the Duty Los Angeles Police Department officer Fernando Irivos.
According to the release of the US Department of Justice, 29 -year -old Louis Alfredo de La La Rosa Ravis, 29, 22 -year -old Ernesto Sesarroz and 34 -year -old Kantras are allegedly members of the F -13 gang. The alleged girlfriend of 18 -year -old Rio Haley Mary Grishham was also charged.
According to the complaint, Arivovs was a victim of a house with his girlfriend on Monday when a black pickup truck went away. Ravis and Cesarroz identified the gun on Arvors and his girlfriend and removed the items from both, including the neck of Arivos.
The release states that the firing between Arivos and two suspects was exchanged, after which Auros fell and the two suspects fled. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene and took Arvos to a hospital where he died.
The complaint states that the four defendants were in the vehicle and were allegedly at a robbery and shooting. He is charged with violent crimes, with the help of reactoring, which is sentenced to minimum life imprisonment in a federal jail without a possible death sentence and parole.
CNN has arrived at the Los Angeles County’s Public Defnder’s office in an attempt to contact the legal representation for the defendants and they are waiting for a response.
LAPD chief Michelle Moore said Tuesday that 27 -year -old Arovias, “was launching a very promising career.” He stayed with the department for three years and was assigned to the Wilshire Division.
“After working for several days in patrol, he enjoyed a day’s holiday, looking for a home with his girlfriend, living space, this city and the future of the region, buying and investing in the future.”
His mother and stepfather have survived after Arivos.
The chief said, “He was the only child, he had an intelligent future, a bright future that was stripped of a robbery in the streets.”
The US Attorney’s Office said in a news release, the F -13 is a “large, multi -faceted street gang that has previously been the subject of federal legal proceedings, including two major cases.”
The news release did not mention any contact between Arvos and the suspects.
