EXCLUSIVE: Deadline can reveal a first clip for UK director Oscar Hudson’s dark comedy Straight Circle, about the absurdities of conflict, as it world premieres in Venice parallel section the International Critics’ Week.
The work follows two soldiers from opposing nations who are stationed at a shared barrack on a desolate border. He has also directed music videos for Radiohead, Bonobo and James Blake, as well as brands including Nike and Apple. He has been awarded a Primetime Emmy, Best Young Director at Cannes Lions and Best Director at the UKMVA’s.
