Recently, I (a relatively snobby fashion editor) had 24 hours to find a decent suit. At home in Los Angeles, that wouldn’t be such a tall order. But I wasn’t at home: I was deep in a San Diego suburb, far from my go-to menswear shops. So I stopped into Men’s Wearhouse for the first time. I had only seen their TV ads and, frankly, I was not expecting to find something I liked. But I ended up with a great suit — and did, in fact, like the way I looked. `
My fruitful visit to Men’s Wearhouse led me to check their website, where I found even more solid suiting options. Obviously, one of the biggest draws with Men’s Wearhouse is price: You can score decent suits at unbelievably low prices, with many jacket + pants combos well below $200. Some of these low prices are on clearance items or combo deals for buying a jacket and pants together.
Best Men’s Wearhouse Suits
Below, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite Men’s Wearhouse suits, whether you’re shopping for a wedding, date night, or the office. I mostly stuck to classic fit suits, because that wide silhouette is back in vogue. I also threw in a couple of “Executive Fit” options, which is essentially Men’s Wearhouse’s plus-size cut with more room in the waist and chest.

Tommy Hilfiger Modern Fit Suit
I’ve been all-in on light gray suits since re-watching Ocean’s 12 and seeing Brad Pitt’s killer getup in that movie. This one from Tommy Hilfiger is a great way to channel that look, whether for an office switch-up, a night out, or a wedding. It features a “modern” fit (essentially a slim fit) and comfortable wool-blend that works year-round. With the pants, the suit costs $449.99.
Joseph Abboud American Bespoke Modern Fit Suit
A nice navy suit is a staple in every guy’s wardrobe. If you don’t have one — or yours is looking tired — pick up this one from Joseph Abboud. It’s part of the brand’s elevated American Bespoke line, so you can expect a premium wool material and an even better fit.
Michael Strahan Classic Fit
Black suits are similar to blue ones, but totally different in vibe. Where blue suits are more business, black suits are great for date nights, dinners, and other out-of-office nighttime events. If you don’t have a black suit, try this one from Michael Strahan’s brand.

Calvin Klein Slim Fit Windowpane Suit
I love a windowpane suit (a suit with a grid pattern) as a way to spice up any dressy outfits. When done well, like it is on this CK suit, the pattern is subtle enough to wear in any setting and even pair with other patterns.
